Gilbert and Sullivan: From planning to performance
This session shows the development of a Gilbert and Sullivan opera from the rehearsal room to the stage. This informative session explains the whole process of presenting an authentic Victorian opera by Carl Rosa Company. Join the artistic director, designer and general manager on planning the season and rehearsing an opera then see the singers with the musical director in rehearsal as they prepare for a performance. The morning will end with a question and answer session and then followed by a matinee performance of Iolanthe.
