The Dutch Swing College Band

After furtive rehearsals in the cellars of
Amsterdam during the Nazi occupation, the
Dutch Swing College Band was officially
launched on Liberation Day, 5th May 1945.
Since then the band has conquered six
continents. A distinctive exciting show from
eight of the world’s finest traditional jazz
musicians and the fact that Chris Barber, Acker
Bilk and Kenny Ball all appeared with the band
on its 60th anniversary recording is testament
to the high quality guaranteed by the Dutch
Swing College Band.
