Following the hugely successful tours by the Siberian Ballet we are delighted to welcome The Russian State Opera of Siberia to the UK for the very first time in 2008 featuring some of Russia’s finest singers and world-class orchestra to perform three great opera masterpieces.
Puccini’s tragic masterpiece is a magnificent tale of the doomed love of an American naval lieutenant and his young Japanese bride. Set to a ravishing score, it features some of the most famous arias in all Italian opera as the story moves from tender moments of unbridled love to its ultimate powerful and tragic conclusion.
