Theatre Royal Bath presents
Relatively Speaking
by Alan Ayckbourn
Starring Peter Bowles and Diane Fletcher
bouquets of flowers and boxes of chocolates and a pair of
incriminating slippers under her bed. So he follows her to her parents’ house in Buckinghamshire, where Philip and Sheila are enjoying a peaceful Sunday morning breakfast in the garden. Greg’s arrival disturbs the rural tranquillity and dizzying confusion soon reigns. Beautifully crafted, wonderfully funny and charmingly English, Relatively
Speaking was Alan Ayckbourn’s first great West End success and turned him into a household name.
We regret that Angela Thorne will not now be appearing in this play as was previously advertised. This is due to the illness of a close family member. The part of Sheila will now be played by Diane Fletcher.

A wonderful evening of first class entertainment. The acting is superb and we would love to go and see it again!
Excellent witty English humour throughout and all of the audience at Malvern were in fits of laughter.
A must see play. BRILLIANT!
a very very entertaining production... two lead roles were both excellent in their comic timing, really brought the writing to life and we really enjoyed a good laugh as did the rest of the audience, as the critics say, "did not disappoint..
