Mamma Mia. Sheer fun and escapism. You'll laugh, sing and cry all the way through! Yes - probably at the same time! The photography is stunning; Meryl Streep is fantastic; 007 and Mr. Darcy in lycra have to be seen to be believed. Julie Walters is a hoot singing "Take a chance on me" - poor Stellan Skarsgard looked terrified! You'll come out from the film singing and da...... more 
The first few minutes is a bit slow but this is the only film I have ever liked with Meryl Streep in it. Its fabulous. Abba is perhaps the only group that had so many hit songs that they could make a complete film out of them. The story has twists and turns that keep you interested all through.
At the end everyone was clapping, then more animated credits and everyone clapped again.
