Gran Torino
Directed by Clint Eastwood
Walt Kowalski is an iron-willed and inflexible Korean War veteran living in a changing world. Walt doesn't like many things, and that's the way he likes it. After the death of his wife he settles down for a life of isolated grumpiness, happy to clean his car, talk to his dog and never have to deal with anyone else, including his family. But when he unwittingly comes to the rescue of a Hmong family who move in next door, he starts to care about something other than keeping his pristine Gran Torino in shape.
