The Grass is Greener
Victor and Hilary Rhyall, two members of the British aristocracy, are facing financial ruin. To get themselves back on track they decide to allow tourists into their stately home for guided tours. When Charles Delacro, an obnoxious American oil tycoon, comes to visit their house with Victor’s ex-girlfriend Hattie – he takes a liking to more than just the estate. Before long a love triangle develops where jealousy runs deep…
Written by Hugh and Margaret Williams, one of Britain’s favourite play-writing teams of the Sixties, The Grass Is Greener was a huge hit in London’s West End, and was subsequently adapted into an
award winning film starring Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr, Robert Mitchum and Jean Simmons.
Heading a soon to be announced all-star cast is Liza Goddard who started her career as Clancy in the Australian cult TV hit Skippy. She has since starred in several smash hit series including Bergerac; Take Three Women; Yes, Honestly; Take Three Girls; The Brothers; Dr Who and Midsomer Murders. On stage Liza has had recent hits with Life and Beth; The Importance of Being Earnest and The Constant Wife.
