Humphrey Lyttelton

Since 1948, Humphrey Lyttelton has been at the forefront of British jazz. The waggish British trumpeter, clarinettist and comedy host delivers traditional jazz classics, mainstream jazz, with some surprises and plenty of his customary humour.

Humphrey was honoured with a lifetime achievement award at both the Post Office British Jazz Awards in April 2001. He was also the recipient of the radio industry's highest honour in 1993: the Sony Gold award.
