Blade Runner 2049 (15)

October 20th - October 26th

When a new blade runner digs up some shady past events, he discovers a secret which poses a threat to his already dysfunctional society.

The year is 2049, and there is a new blade runner in town in the shape of LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling). When he uncovers a dark and dirty secret from the past, he realises that the dismal metropolis he lives in could be about to go from bad to worse.

His detective work leads him to believe that only one man can help solve the conundrum, but finding someone that’s been missing for 30 years won’t be easy. Where is former LAPD blade runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), and what has he been hiding from for the last three decades?

The hotly-anticipated sequel to Blade Runner (1982) is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who has films such as Arrival(2016), Sicario (2015) and Prisoners (2013) under his belt.

Ryan Gosling (La La Land) takes the reigns as the leading man, whilst Harrison Ford (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) reprises his classic role.

A solid supporting cast comes in the shape of Jared Leto (Suicide Squad), Robin Wright (Wonder Woman) and Barkhad Abdi (Captain Philips).
