Kingsman: The Golden Circle (15)

13th October 2017 - 16th October 2017

Gadgets, wit and undeniable class: the quintessentially British renegade spies are back. Both of them.

After an ambiguous departure in the last film, Matthew Vaughn’s much anticipated sequel promises even more action for everyone’s favourite key characters. But this time, it’s in the very un-British Wild West.

Secret agents Eggsy (Taron Egerton) and Merlin (Mark Strong) are about to form a ‘special relationship’ with their American counterparts – an organisation appropriately dubbed Stateside.

The US espionage organisation is every bit Yank that Kingsman is English, complete with headquarters hidden within a whisky distillery, serious guns and, of course, Jeff Bridges. Headed by the no-nonsense Ginger (Halle Berry), Eggsy and Merlin are soon overwhelmed by the attitude and superiority of the American agents’ setup.

As well as adapting to the culture shock of bar brawls and robots, the Englishmen must work with their newfound partners to take on the worst villain they’ve encountered: the wacky, whimsical and wicked Poppy (Julianne Moore).

With promises to surprise and delight fans with mind-blowing sequences and guest appearances from the likes of Elton John and Channing TatumKingsman: The Golden Circle is set to be an unpredictable rollercoaster that’ll have you glued to the screen.

And, if that’s not enough to get your heart racing, there’s also a whisper from Harry (Colin Firth) suggesting “reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated…”
