The Doctors Who Made Malvern Great

23rd June 2017

MALVERN CIVIC SOCIETY – CIVIC WEEK

A new talk by local historian and chair of The Malvern Spa Association, Dr John Harcup OBE, to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of Dr James Wilson, who brought the Cold Water Cure to Malvern and the 175 th anniversary of the arrival of the Cure. The story starts in the 14th century and involves 12 men and one woman – not all Water Cure doctors. This is a fascinating look at Malvern’s past and is part of Civic Week.

The proceeds will be given to three local charities.
