Malvern Theatres Young Company was created in 2012 to encourage young people’s enjoyment and participation in the arts and to offer a unique opportunity to be involved in a professionally-led production. The first year’s show, Little Shop of Horrors, played to an audience of 1,053 and since then the company has gone from strength to strength. Since 2012, over 120 young people have taken part in the company, with a core ensemble of 26 who have appeared in over 3 of the last 6 productions.
