Malvern Theatres runs as a proudly independent theatre with only 1% of its running costs publicly funded. The Theatre has seen its subsidy fall dramatically in the last decade and it is only thanks to the generous support of our loyal audiences that we have been able to continue to deliver our fantastic programme of work, both on and off the stage.

We deliver world-class theatre and live entertainment that is exciting, challenging and diverse. With your support we can reach people of all ages and abilities, offering life enhancing experiences for all.

Our next goal is to build a dedicated studio space that will transform the theatre and our education and community work.

How you can make a difference

Malvern Theatres has had its public funding cut by 72% in the last ten years. Together we can help secure the future of Malvern Theatres, ensuring its treasured place at the heart of our community.

Give Regularly

We’re very grateful to the supporters who kindly set up monthly direct debit donations to help the theatre meet the funding shortfall. By choosing to give a regular donation, you are helping us to plan ahead and make long-term improvements for theatre and our community.

Leave a Legacy

Legacy gifts have the ability to transform Malvern Theatres. Gifts from as little as £1,000 can bring small projects, such as a community singing group to life and larger bequests can make an extraordinary difference, turning our ambitious dreams into reality.

Recent gifts have enabled us to continue to offer subsidised relaxed cinema screenings and also to introduce weekly subtitled screenings.

We understand that your loved ones will always come first, but leaving a gift of any size will make a lasting difference, safeguarding the theatre and enriching the lives of future generations.
