Further to our announcement on Boxing Day and the statements by Government on December 30th, we can confirm that Malvern Theatres will close throughout January with the cancellation of all performances and film screenings during that month.

Tickets for this period will be refunded. Those booked online will be automatically refunded to original cards of payment. Ticket holders who booked by phone will be contacted soon to arrange a refund.

We very much hope to be able to reschedule at least some of our January programme at a later date and will announce details as soon as we are able. In the meantime, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support in 2020 and to wish our audiences all the best for 2021.

We regret to announce that Malvern Theatres will close its doors from December 26th following four confirmed cases of Covid-19 amongst its staff. The building will remain closed until at least January 6th. Performances and film screenings scheduled for that period have been cancelled.

The safety of our audiences, staff and volunteers is paramount and the decision to close is the only responsible one in the circumstances. We appreciate that the loss of shows will be a disappointment to those who have booked, many of them families. We’re grateful to everyone who has booked for supporting the theatre during this difficult time.

If you have tickets for an event during this time, if you booked your tickets online, an automatic refund will be issued to your original card of payment within the next 7 working days.
