ACE DANCE: UNKNOWN REALMS

1st March 2023 7:30 pm

The world we once knew is becoming one we have yet to understand…

UNKNOWNREALMS shows us a picture of the world and what is happening now.

Rooted in African and contemporary culture, ACE dance and music collaborate with two internationally acclaimed Black male choreographers: Serge Aimé Coulibaly and Vincent Mantsoe.

UNKNOWNREALMS is performed against a backdrop of stunning scenography and dynamic sounds by Andy Garbi and Yvan Talbot.

Two contrasting works come together to examine the past and present with consciousness and contemporary sensibility.

Six dancers rise from the ashes with powerful explosive dance that uncovers the rich history of lives lived; memories, human struggle and people letting go.

An all-embracing, multi layered production that celebrates mortality, perseverance and hope overcoming adversity.

More than just dance – this is a double bill with gravity and the pulse of a new generation.

Running Time: 1 Hour 20 (Including Interval)
