8th January 2022 7:30 pm

Eduardo Strausser Conductor

Jennifer France Soprano

They call Vienna the city of dreams, and it wouldn’t be New Year without the music of Johann Strauss and friends.

There’ll be elegant waltzes, playful polkas, and operetta romance from soprano Jennifer France.

The new year has never been more welcome – but why fly to Vienna when the CBSO and maestro Eduardo Stausser can whirl you away with the sound of a waltz? Let the CBSO and maestro Eduardo Strausser whirl you back to a more glamorous age, as we raise a glass to the start of another great year of music. Prosit!

Event Reviews

Always an evening to look forward to at Malvern Theatre, but tonight’s performance was very special - a sublime journey - a dynamic, romping, rousing adventure - amusing, flirtatious, ethereal, magical and triumphant. What fun we had! Enraptured! But not just us - evidently the musicians too. The reason? The youthful fire brought by extraordinarily charismatic Brazilian conductor EDUARDO STRAUSSER. Thank you to the fantastic CBSO, including the exquisitely beautiful vocals of gorgeous soprano Jennifer France, thank you Malvern and thank you Eduardo Strausser! A MUST!
