Contemporary Technique with Dancefest
Tuesday 19th November
10.30am-12.30pm
Contemporary dance class led by Dancefest’s Clare Wood, who has over 18 years’ experience as a teacher, choreographer and dancer, working with people of all ages and abilities. The workshop will start with some gentle warm up exercises based on contemporary technique, to improve strength, flexibility and posture. They’ll be followed by more energetic and longer exercises influenced by other dance styles, leading in to an in depth contemporary phrase and some small, simple creative tasks.
