Event Reviews

  • Josephine

Last year’s films were so marvellous, interesting and informative that I suggested taking my two grandchildren, nine and seven and their Mum to last night’s event. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. Whilst the film about the man who sailed in that tiny boat across the Atlantic was showing an amazing achievement, it was rather long and the dated format was a bit tedious. I had been really looking forward to my family being enthralled by all the wonderful diversity of the sea and other educational and cautionary reminders as to how we can help maintain a healthy relationship with the oceans of the world. Some of the other short films were very good last night, but on the whole I have mixed feelings about the evening, which is regrettable.
    Sorry....
