A couple (Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult) travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef (Ralph Fiennes) has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.

Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) is the sceptical date of a relentless foodie (Nicholas Hoult) who’s brought her to eat at Hawthorne, a highly exclusive restaurant on a remote island designed to cater only to the wealthiest clientele.

But what’s being served up isn’t just a delicious amuse-bouche: world-class Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) is the man behind the evening’s menu, and he’s bringing some very shocking ingredients to the table.
