In this heart-warming tale, an old man (Timothy Spall) living in John O’Groats, Scotland is recently widowed after his wife (Phyllis Logan) passes away.
With his trusty free local bus pass, he decides to travel back to where they originally met, at the other end of the UK, carrying his wife’s ashes in a small suitcase.
Using only local buses, this nostalgic trip to return his loved one home turns into an unforgettable experience as he meets kind-hearted strangers along the way and gains national attention for his adventure.
