I, Tonya (15)

March 23rd - March 29th

In 1994, figure skater Nancy Kerrigan was attacked. Tonya Harding, rival, and Olympic team mate, was hurled into a globe-stopping news story.

Growing up, Tonya trained on the ice rink relentlessly. Pushed by her mother, she had no friends, no happy childhood, no acknowledgement of her abilities. That all changed when she started to become recognised in the figure skating world.

As an adult, skating was her life. When she met Jeff as a grown woman, she went on her first ever date… and her mother tagged along.

When things finally seemed to be on the up for Tonya, who was qualified for the Winter Olympics for her skating prowess, her rival Nancy Kerrigan was attacked, her knee broken.
The scandal was hot news, and Tonya placed firmly in the firing line as the perpetrator.

Weird, wacky, and delightfully dark, I, Tonya stars Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad) in a career-defining performance as Tonya Harding. Her co-stars include Sebastian Stan (Captain America: Civil War) as her husband, Jeff Gillooly, and Allison Janney (The Help) as her mother, LaVona Golden.

I, Tonya has already enjoyed a variety of accolades, including three nominations for the 75th Golden Globe Awards, and countless positive reviews.
