While searching for the sacred jewels, Knight Godefroy and his squire are accidentally transported to contemporary times by a senile sorcerer. Godefroy enlists the aid of his descendants to try to find a way to return back to where he came from, all the while trying to contend with the cultural and technological differences between his time of 1023 and the late 20th century.
