MET 2019-20 Season: An Illustrated Talk by Joseph Brand

Join us for this illustrated talk by Joseph Brand, covering the first half of this year’s season.
Lasting around 2 hours, the talk will be accompanied by recorded musical extracts and will give background information on the creators, performers and production associated with each opera. Joseph Brand’s sixty-plus years of opera-going covers some 2000 performances and he has written, reviewed and lectured widely on the subject of opera. His enthusiasm has taken him to performances throughout the UK and abroad, including the MET itself.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
