When Charlie is sucked into the magical world of Playmobil, his older sister Marla must leave her highly organised life and go on the journey of a lifetime to bring him home safe. Marla’s (Anya Taylor-Joy) life revolves around structure and organisation. Everything she does is carefully planned to the minute. However, when her brother Charlie (Gabriel Bateman) is sucked into the magical world of Playmobil, she knows going after him will change her life completely…

After landing in the enchanting toy world, Marla adapts to her unfamiliar surroundings – and new look – before heading to the nearest town. Here, she meets top-secret agent Rex Dasher (Daniel Radcliffe), who explains to her that, in the Playmobil world, nothing is as it seems.

Together, with the help of a fairy-godmother (Meghan Trainor), Marla and Rex begin their search for Charlie. But things aren’t going to be simple, and the pair must face a treacherous and perilous journey. With cowboys, gladiators, aliens and Vikings to contend with, they’ll be lucky to escape alive…

In his directorial debut, Lino DiSalvo brings us Playmobil, a fun-filled animation perfect for all ages, starring the voices of Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Meghan Trainor (Smurfs: The Lost Village), Daniel Radcliffe (The Harry Potter film series, Beast of Burden) and Gabriel Bateman (Benji).
