When it was first performed in 1892, The Nutcracker transformed classical ballet into a fairy-tale and became one of Tchaikovsky’s most famous compositions, as well as one of the most popular ballets in the world. Featuring a timeless score, The Nutcracker is a renowned ballet classic combining evocative music and exquisite dance. With its mystery and romance, the Nutcracker has captured the imagination of many generations over the years and continues to attract large audiences worldwide.
Classical Ballet and Opera House have produced ballet and opera in over 100 UK venues and their most recent production of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, seen in Malvern in April was met with considerable acclaim.
