When a gang of criminals are killed during a failed robbery, their widowed wives try to finish the business that their husbands could not. This dark comedy-thriller stars an incredible line-up including Viola Davis (Suicide Squad), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar), Cynthia Erivo (Step), Liam Neeson (Taken) and Colin Farrell (In Bruges).

Four widows become unlikely friends over the debt left behind by their late husbands who all died in an attempted robbery. Veronica (Viola Davis), Alice (Elizabeth Debicki), Linda (Michelle Rodriguez) and Belle (Cynthia Erivo) decide to take fate into their own hands and finish off the business their husbands could not.

When one of the wives is raped by someone she was dating, the foursome decide to hatch a plan that will give her the revenge she deserves. The plan is simple: dump him in the middle of a desert without his clothes so that he has to hitch back to town naked.

But things don’t go exactly the way they hope when they realise they’ve accidentally killed him…

Based on the 1980s British tv series, Widows is the work of acclaimed author Gillian Flynn and 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen, who both brought us the screenplay. The films brings together a stronghold of talent including Viola Davis (Suicide Squad), Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby), Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar), Cynthia Erivo (Step), Liam Neeson (Taken) and Colin Farrell (In Bruges).
