Call Me By Your Name (15)

27th November 2017 - 30th November 2017

When 17-year-old Elio meets a handsome research assistant at his parent’s luxury Italian holiday home, he is forced to confront his sexuality during an unforgettable summer break.

Northern Italy, summer 1983. Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet) has an idyllic break ahead of him, at his parents’ 17th century mansion on the Italian Riviera.

He shares a close relationship with his father (Michael Stuhlberg), a respected professor who specialises in Greco-Roman culture, and his mother (Amira Casar), a translator, who have raised their son on a rich cultural diet of history and an appreciation for the arts.

But, while he initially spends his break flirting with his friend Marzia (Esther Garrel), the arrival of a charming young graduate named Oliver (Armie Hammer) forces Elio to question his sexuality. As his relationship with Marzia becomes less innocent, the chemistry between Elio and Oliver also intensifies.

Call Me by Your Name is a coming-of-age tale that is both captivating and heartbreaking, and has already been hailed as one of the best films of 2017. Directed by Luca Guadagnino (A Bigger Splash, I Am Love), it features remarkable performances from its lead actors.

Timothée Chalamet (Interstellar) dazzles as precocious Elio, as does Armie Hammer (Nocturnal Animals) as love interest Oliver.
