Jemima Parry-Jones MBE: Destroying the myths about Vultures

19th June 2018 7:30 pm

DESTROYING THE MYTHS ABOUT VULTURES

Vultures have a bad press! They are thought of as Ugly, Dirty and Smelly. Nothing could be further from the truth and sadly right now they have been listed by IUCN as one of the most endangered groups of birds in the world. They are actually crucial to the environments that they inhabit.

Come and meet some vultures, learn how amazing and important they are and what is happening to them in the wild.

Jemima Parry-Jones MBE is Director of the International Centre for Birds of Prey and is one of the world’s leading authorities on the subject.

Ticket price includes a £1 contribution to our heritage fund.
