The Jubilant Queen’s Beasts

Join us in celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee! Malvern Theatres and Malvern Cube Projects join forces to create a ‘right royal rumpus’ by way of two community murals which will act as a backdrop for an exciting afternoon of outdoor theatre.

Specially commissioned for the project, Coventry based outdoor-theatre company, The Fabularium will devise short performances based on The Queen’s Beasts, ten heraldic statues representing the genealogy of Queen Elizabeth II. They will perform first at Malvern Theatres, before promenading to Malvern Cube to delight once more. Come along and watch a magical event to begin a weekend jammed with jubilation’s and packed with party pageantry!

The Fabularium Performance times:

Thursday 2^nd June 2022

2pm- Priory Park, at the end of The Forum Theatre

There will be much celebration and you can join the throng and promenade through the park towards The Cube

3pm- Malvern Cube

The Queen’s Beasts commemorate 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, having been present for her coronation in 1953. Come and see how they have adapted to a changing world and join them to herald a more benevolent future.
